The Concierge Difference

Concierge Care Gives Us Time To Deepen The Work

A deliberately smaller practice — so there's room for longer visits, and the understanding deepens every time we meet.

Hour-long appointments allow me a deep understanding of your entire life.

Compare that to a 15-minute med check at an insurance-based clinic, and you can understand the benefits.

At my concierge practice we both have time to notice what’s changed and why, instead of renewing a prescription and moving on.

My clinic allows for significant flexibility. If you are going through a tough stretch, I can see you multiple times a week, or every day.

For folks with long-term, complex psychiatric presentations, that flexibility can be the difference between going in-patient, and staying at home.

I carry no-more than 100 patients at any time.

The standard insurance-based psychiatrist is expected to sees more-than 800!

By carrying a reduced patient load, I reserve the time and energy I need to provide empathetic care.

Our clinic does not accept insurance. We are out of network.

Four things about my clinic

1) Visits run 60 minutes

2) Therapy and medication live in one relationship here: the person adjusting a prescription is the same person who knows your story.

3) You reach me directly, by phone or text, and I get back to you. A dose reaction or a hard week doesn't wait for the next appointment.

4) I deliberately carry a small panel of patients. Fewer patients means I know you, for real. And it means I can see you same-day.

About the Doctor

About Dr. Kavin Fatehchand

As an MD-PhD, I bring a scientist's eye to your mental health.

Before I was a psychiatrist, I was a scientist doing my doctoral research in cancer immunology; asking why a cell behaves the way it does, what sits underneath the surface? That’s not so different from the art of psychiatry.

Patients tend to say that I felt like a real person. I hope you come to consider me a thinking partner, rather than a provider. When you have a problem at work, in a relationship, or somewhere else, my office is a safe space where we can tackle your challenges, together.

You are more than a diagnosis, and my practice reflects that.
